About Me
I've been practicing yoga for almost 25 years, originally coming to yoga during a stressful period of study. For much of that time I used yoga to manage high stress situations, and physical problems. More recently I delved deeper into yoga as a way of transforming my whole life, from a state of overwhelm to returning (most of the time!) to my calm balanced centre, able to appreciate and enjoy the abundance in my life. I believe in empowering women during pregnancy to make the right choices for their individual circumstances, and supporting parents to really nurture themselves so they can in turn nurture their children. Through personal experience and teaching experience I draw on a wide range of yoga techniques to support balance in the mind and body of students, including poses, breath practices, mudra, and meditation.
